Every summer the first weekend of August is reserved for our Martinis Marchi Summer Party, luxury & bit of extravagant themed party for our guests which we feel like our family.
This was our lucky 7th year in a row and the theme chosen for this year was LIFE IS A CABARET.
Around 250 guests from over 15 countries from Europe and around the world book the date in advance to make it to this year’s fiesta.
The warm-up started already on Friday, 3rd of August, as we prepared a special Evening of sea delicacies, the culinary spectacle of best sea delicacy there are on Adriatic, followed with good vine, music and friends. Our chef Toni with his team made sure all guests are satisfied and eager for the day after 
Saturday, 4th of August, started with relaxing kayaking for those who got up on time. The ride was smooth and a lot of fun and after some refreshments and swimming on the nearby island we returned in the marina as the chilling started on the red carpet with a beautiful view of our marina packed with gorgeous Sunseeker yachts!
A sip of Aperitivo Rosato, bite of art with a live exhibition of our friend and talented painter Vicko Buktenica and beautiful girls in shiny red dresses and feathers in their hair already announced that the evening is going to be sparkling!
And at 8:30, everything fell into place as the party officially started and everyone directed their attention to the amphitheatre as the first act of the program kicked off. The amphitheatre was filled up with guests, tourists, and locals alike as it was time to start the Cabaret! The moderator welcomed the crowd in English, German and Croatian. For the next hour, the evening was brightened by cabaret music from the 1920s, fire dancers, various singers, and beautiful women. After an hour of performances which took us back 90 years ago to the roaring 20s, we have transported again “back to the future” for the premiere, unveiling of the BMW 8.
After the opening, delicious Cabaret dinner with an open bar serving Mumm champagne and Galić vine and all, you could wish for, in our Mediterranean gardens. The magical setting of vibrant green grass, luscious trees and accompanied with a bit of close-up magic and attractive girl Cabaret bend. For some additional glam, our Malalan partner made sure not a diamond was missing.
Looking from above it really resembled as being on some of the best Gatsby’s parties!
As always, the grand finale was played by the pool where on the menu was good music, fashion & sex appeal, until the early hours. Especially when an attractive burlesque dancer emerged from the darkness in an erotic dance which finished as she swirled around a martini glass which is the size of a small adult. Fashion and art lovers enjoyed in the fashion show by Bubabu design and our own Art Gallery for Art Lovers Only which was presented in the piano room.
For the finish of perhaps the best party of the summer, our guest singer Marc Terenzi made all guests dancing and singing surrounded by soapy bubbles and sparkling water from the pool as almost everybody was spontaneously in it, from time to time.
In the end, while our guests were saying, See you again next year we were both happy and already excited to make the party next year as good as this one!
