Wine tasting and Gala dinner

The rapsody of wines, champagnes and food

Within fascinating atmosphere of heritage hotel Martinis Marchi, more than 300 years old, 22.04.2017. the great exibition of the best european winemakers and champagne producers took place. The programme started with degustations in the wine basement of the castle and the best products were presented by Burica wines from island of Šolta, Jakob wines from Slavonia, Meneghetti wines from Istria, Jakončić wines from Slovenia, Marchesi Fumanelli wines from Italy, Weingut Nett wines from Germany and last but not least Champagne Encry from France. Also, participants had the chance to enjoy and taste carefully choosen cheeses and brilliant olive oil produced in island of Šolta. While visiting oil refinery Olynthia in the afternoon, our guests had the honour to get familiar with the way of preparing and producing olive ol. The artistic atmosphere of this event was insured by Damir Vrdoljak Mandeta by presenting his interesting scluptures. The latter was great introduction to the elegant dinner which was prepared by cooks from Martinis Marchi restaurant with ahead of chef Toni and cooks from Laganini lounge bar with Hrvoje Zirojević as their chef. Each plate was accompanied with delicately choosen wines so guests could really enjoy relaxed atmosphere and experience great delicacies. This gastronomic spectacle ended with chearful mood in the late evening hours with the thoughts of new events coming soon organized by Martinis Marchi.
