Chef de Cuisine (f/m)

Workplace description

  • Planning, organizing, and managing the kitchen in agreement with the superior
  • The ability to make independent decisions and to implement and control work procedures and worker schedules, with an emphasis on personal responsibility
  • Ensuring economical consumption and quality of food
  • Free and independent creation of dishes for the menu
  • Planning, ordering, tracking, and crediting goods
  • Performing inventory checks and calculations
  • Providing up-to-date, friendly, and timely service to guests in food and beverage establishments
  • Supervising and monitoring the maintenance of cleanliness and orderliness in the work area, and handling all equipment responsibly in compliance with HACCP standards
  • Strong communication, teamwork, cooperation, creativity, responsibility, accuracy, and reliability
  • Focus on quality of work and guest satisfaction
  • Goal-oriented, with a focus on set goals and results

Conditions

  • At least 3 years of work experience in relevant roles within the food and beverage department
  • KV/SSS (hospitality and/or hotel major preferred)
  • Knowledge of at least one foreign language is desirable
  • Friendly and professional communication with guests
  • Strong skills in creating and managing a selected team, with strong organizational abilities
  • Computer skills (Word and Excel)
