Heritage hotel Martinis Marchi situated in Maslinica in the island of Šolta this weekend, May 13th and 14th, revitalized its own spaces with the colours of artistic inspiration which come from numerous painters from the territory of Split- Dalmatia county, responded to the invitation of the Artistic association Eugen Buktenica Đenko from the town of Grohota to be the host of this year artistic colony named Šolta’s naive. Being part of the colony, support and respect to the artistic tradition of island of Šolta, especially to what the most significant representative of Dalmatian naive- Eugen Buktenica Đenko has done during his lifetime, were state: Lada Lušić, Hajdi Tabak Javorčić, Branka Smoje, Milica Krstulović, Ina Petric, Vera Sinovčić, Edita Vrgoč, Ljiljana Kulušić, Deni Čulić, Cvjetana Bazina Periša and Dražen Pačalat from the territory of Split, Ante Vukić and Stipe Tokić from Solin, Domjan Šošić from Brela, Nikša Erceg from Podstrana, Šime Glavurtić from the island of Hvar, Pero Dragičević from the island of Brač, and representatives from the island of Šolta- Anka Mateljan, Boris Mihovilović Sokol and the president of Association, successor of the Đenko’s artistic work, the painter Vicko Buktenica. Apart from the members of the Artistic association Eugen Buknica Đenko, most painters participants of the colony are members of Salona Art from Solin and Alumni FEST association from Split.
