This summer, Martinis Marchi Castle becomes home to an exclusive exhibition by internationally acclaimed Macedonian sculptor Prof. Dr. Nikola Smilkov, whose works have been exhibited and collected across Europe, Asia and beyond. His sculptures are part of prestigious public and private collections, including the National Museum of China in Beijing, while his artistic career has been recognised through numerous international exhibitions and awards.

Presented within the historic interiors of the castle, the exhibition offers guests a unique opportunity to discover Smilkov's distinctive sculptural language—minimalist, timeless forms inspired by universal human emotions, movement and reflection.

The exhibition will be open to hotel guests and visitors from 28 July to 2 August 2026, enriching the cultural programme of Martinis Marchi throughout the Solaris weekend.

As part of SOLARIS – The Golden Sunset, hotel & event guests are invited to take part in an exclusive sculpture workshop led by Prof. Dr. Nikola Smilkov.

Held in the tranquil gardens of Martinis Marchi on Friday, 31 July & Saturday, 1 August 2026, the workshop offers a rare opportunity to work alongside one of the region's leading contemporary sculptors while exploring creativity in an inspiring Mediterranean setting.

Participation is limited, and advance registration is required.
